Questions about Apeture and Shutter Speed
1. What number f stop does the large aperture hole have?
A large aperture hole has a low F number.
2. What type of aperture hole does F 5.6 have?
It would have a medium sized aperture hole.
3. F in "F-Stop" also refer too:
The F refers to "Focus".
4. If you want to change the aperture to let in the least amount of light, what would you set the aperture?
I would set the aperture to a high F number.
5. What if you want to change the aperture to let in the most amount of light, what would you set the aperture?
I would set the aperture to a low F number.
6. The F-stop also determines the "depth of field" or how much depth the picture will be in focus. Using the picture in the notes explain how much of an image will be in focus if you see F32?
With that aperture, the fore, mid and background would all be in focus.
7. How much of the image will be in focus if you use the aperture of F 1.4?
The only thing that will be in focus is what the camera is pointing directly at and the rest will be blurry.
8. If you want to adjust the shutter speed to capture or freeze something in motion, what would you set the shutter speed at?
I would set a very short and fast shutter speed.
9. If you want to adjust the shutter speed to create an image blur, what might you set the shutter speed at?
I would set a long and slow shutter speed.
10. If you have your shutter speed at 1/25 you might consider using a tripod. Why is this?
Because with that long of a shutter speed it would capture in all the camera shake as well, so the tripod would be an easy way to eliminate said shake.
